Firmware Updates

The Mako can have its firmware updated even after it has been put into field service. This can be done at our calibrators and service centers as part of your annual calibration.

Firmware Patch Notes

Firmware update v15

Other: Minor bug fix addressing a capture display issue when MAKO is set to KPAD.

Firmware update v14

Increase of Resolution in KPAD: when set to display kilopascals differential the MAKO will now show measurements with a resolution of 0.1 KPAD, increased from 0.7 KPAD.

Other: Minor bug fixes addressing a display issue that sometimes occurred during firmware updates and the truncation of values during the Adjustment procedure.

Firmware update v13

Removal of Low side Pressure readings: The main display will now show "0.0" PSID if the Low side of the sensor is exposed to a greater pressure than the High side of the sensor. Previous firmware versions display the absolute value of the pressure differential in all situations. This change was made to avoid confusion if the MAKO gauge was connected to a backflow prevention assembly incorrectly.

  • Ex. 50 psi is applied to the high side and 55 psi is applied to the low side of the gauge.

FW v 11 will display 5.0 PSID

FW v 13 will display 0.0 PSID

Rate of Change Graph re-scaled: The chevrons of the rate of change graph were modified to provide better feedback to the user in ranges seen during typical testing. The first chevron will now turn on when the pressure is changing at a rate of 0.1 PSID/sec. The last chevron will now turn on when the pressure is changing at a rate of 1.5 PSID/sec.

Other: Minor bug fixes and user improvements for the Calibration Adjustment process.  Even greater accuracy when measuring street (line, supply) pressures.
