All product returns must have prior approval and include an RMA #.

Product returned without an RMA # may be refused or returned at customer expense.
An RMA # is valid for 30 days from issuance. Product must arrive at Arbiter within that validity period. All returned products must be shipped freight prepaid. All items returned to Arbiter must be properly packaged to prevent shipping damage. Any claims for shipment damage are the responsibility of the customer. RMA # must be clearly visible on the outside of the package. Parcel must include paperwork clearly showing the RMA #, part number, quantity, and reason for return. An RMA # is issued in good faith based upon customer's representation of the product quantity, condition, age, and reason for return. All returned products will be inspected by Arbiter Service department. If the product is found to be other than that originally represented, the shipment will be returned at the customer's expense.
1. Non-Warranty Repairs:
After inspection, Arbiter Service department will notify the customer with results of the inspection along with costs for repair within 5 business days of receipt of products. Customer has 15 business days to accept or deny the repair. If the customer does not respond or denies the repair, the product will be returned to the customer as received.
2. Warranty Claims:
Product under warranty must have an RMA # and be returned to Arbiter freight prepaid. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty, the product will be repaired or replaced at Arbiter's option under Arbiter's warranty terms. The product will be returned freight prepaid to the customer.
3. General Terms for Credit Returns:
We work to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you are unhappy with your purchase, we’ll be happy to return or exchange the product within 30 days of purchase for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
To qualify for a Credit Return the product must meet all the following requirements:
a. Items must not be damaged or show signs of wear.
b. Items must be in their original packaging.
c. Proof of purchase from arbiterbackflow.com must be included with the return.
d. Items were not marked as SALE at the time of purchase.
Approved Credit Returns require an RMA # and must be returned freight prepaid within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase (copy of invoice) is required. Credit for the returned product less 10% restocking charge will be issued only after receipt and inspection of product.
Workmanship Promise for Repairs:
Arbiter Incorporated guarantees that all repairs performed are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date of repair. If the same issue or a related problem arises within this period, we will re-evaluate and repair the tool again at no additional cost. This guarantee applies only to the parts and issues addressed during the repair and does not cover cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, misuse, or previously unobserved issues. To claim under this guarantee, please complete an RMA request as above.
